Education:

Naicam serves a large area with public kindergarten and high school facilities. A gymnasium/auditorium with seating capacity for about 500 persons is part of the school complex. 

A $1.8 Million expansion, completed in 1986, provided more classroom facilities, additional playground space and equipment, mini gym, offices, and a needed resource room with computers. The library was also expanded at this time.

The Naicam School has now gone through another expansion and renovation project. A new gymnasium has been built and renovations to the existing gym were completed in 2005.

Through the Wapiti Regional Library system, Naicam maintains a library with circulation of over 12,000 books annually and a membership of well over 1,000. The library is situated on Main Street and provides ample space for a Kiddies Korner to hold Story Hour two afternoons a week.

Preschool is also available in Naicam at the Naicam Town Hall. Kiddie Kollege is twice a week and is open to any children ages 3 - 5 years.
